We are deeply saddened and distressed to witness the violence occurring across Ukraine and we are joining the world in mourning those affected.
As a nonprofit organization committed to providing tuition-free humanistic software engineering education to individuals from all socio-economic backgrounds, we felt that it was our responsibility to mobilize resources to support individuals who had to migrate. This is when we reach out to our partners – Productboard and Digiteq Automotive - and together, we created scholarship support for Ukrainian applicants for them to be able to be present on-site during Piscine. This is our way of helping them to have a smooth integration into the European job market.
SELECTION PROCESS
The eligible candidates had to pass our 2-hour admission online test and send us a letter of motivation explaining why IT and 42 way of learning appeal to them. Upon evaluation, we granted each selected candidate 20 000 CZK as a one-time support payment for living expenses during Piscine. The 13 awardees of scholarships were announced on August 15.
