They Aim to Develop Digital Talent and Support Innovation in the Czech Republic.
Prague, July 1, 2026 – The IT school 42 Prague is entering into a strategic partnership with Adastra, a global leader in data, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. Their shared goal is to develop digital skills, support upskilling, and prepare people for the technological challenges of a rapidly changing job market.
Both organizations share the belief that the future of the technology sector depends above all on people. At a time when companies across all industries are seeking qualified professionals and technologies are evolving at an unprecedented pace, the importance of education that can respond to current market needs is growing.
“The future of IT will not rest solely on new technologies, but above all on the people who can learn to use them and further develop them. At 42 Prague, we have long demonstrated that the technology path can be open to people from various fields and with diverse life experiences. Our partnership with Adastra will help us further bridge the gap between education and practice and show students what challenges technology companies are actually tackling today,” says Petra Meliška, CEO of 42 Prague.
This collaboration builds on a successful project from the DigiEduHack hackathon, a European Commission initiative aimed at supporting digital education. Adastra participated in the project as both a mentor and a partner, supporting a team of 42 Prague students who went on to win the top prize in the international competition. The award ceremony took place on June 18 in Brussels.
The new partnership will focus on three key areas—developing digital skills, supporting upskilling and reskilling in IT, and fostering innovation in the technology sector. The collaboration will include specialized workshops, mentoring, the sharing of practical experience, and other activities designed to help students better understand how modern technology companies operate and prepare for future careers in the field.
“At the DigiEduHack hackathon, we saw how quickly 42 Prague students can come up with a working solution to a real-world business challenge. It’s precisely this combination—the desire to learn on the job—that we need in our technology teams. Through our collaboration with 42 Prague, we want to show students what real-world data and AI projects look like—the kinds our consultants encounter every day—and open the door to the industry for them, regardless of where they come from,” says Martin Kadlec, Business Development Manager at Adastra.
The partnership is another step in both organizations’ long-term efforts to support education, innovation, and the development of tech talent. Their shared goal is to help people acquire the skills needed for the future and contribute to strengthening the Czech tech ecosystem.
