Before you can take off with coding at 42 Prague, you need to take some small and big steps. Buckle up, and let's get started!
To join 42 Prague, you have to successfully register on our platform.
You will play two logic games to show us if you are eligible to become a 42 Prague applicant. Take the challenge and find out if you have what it takes to get into coding. NOTE: we recommend to play these games on desktop.
Duration: 2 hours
The 42 Prague team introduces the learning model, Piscine and Core Curriculum in detail. This is also your chance to meet the staff and future peers, and ask questions.
Duration: 1 hour
The Piscine is a 4-week immersive selection bootcamp. Dive deep into coding with C and Unix, collaborate intensively with your peers, and discover if 42 Prague is right for you. If you pass the Piscine, you can start the Core Curriculum and become a 42 Prague student.

The adventure is about to start! Are you ready for an exciting coding journey?
Now that you know how our Admission process works, we'd like to give you some insights on the last step - the "Piscine". It's the French word for "Swimming Pool". The idea is that everyone learns how to swim by immediately jumping into the water. We believe it's the same when you start programming. During the Piscine, candidates will dive into the world of coding. By working through challenging projects and solving daily assignments alongside your peers, you can figure out if 42 Prague's peer-to-peer learning method suits you.
The Piscines takes place on a regular base. It is an immersive program with the mission to bring you, together with about 150 other candidates, to spend 4 weeks, seven days a week, day and night (including weekends), coding your heart out.
After the Piscine, we will carefully evaluate each candidate to determine if they are a good match for the 42 Prague curriculum and community. There is no way to prepare for a Piscine. We only recommend that you get plenty of rest beforehand and be ready to interact and learn a lot! The most important thing you should know about the Piscine is that it is not a competition! Cooperation and enthusiasm are two factors for success that will help you make it through this unique experience.
